What is a Webquest?
ICT can provide exceptional support for facilitating
interaction and communication between teachers and students, between teachers
and dicentes. The WebQuest is a learning methodology that, using the resources
available on the Internet, allows students to investigate, discover and
transform knowledge. It is a didactic strategy that also contributes to:
- To promote critical thinking
- Develop creativity
- Reflect on decision making
- Develop cognitive capacities
- Enhance various skills
Through the WebQuest is collaborated in a useful
learning process, Easy and fun. It has been devised for students to develop
their thinking through processes of analysis, synthesis, contrast, verification
and evaluation. They are also used in tasks that motivate students in
real-world issues, seek information to use it effectively, and find solutions
to practical problems.
A Webquest is composed of six basic parts:
Introduction, Task, process, resources, evaluation and conclusion. But they
also tend to add a practical guide, some ideas of enlargement and the
appropriations with the authorship and the resources used.
I leave you now some materials for you. You can see
how interesting this strategy of cooperative learning with a Webquest to
